SQA have already issued communication direct to schools with regard to the new Higher codes.
If schools choose to enter the new SQA code in Click+Go now:
On adding the code to school courses and year options a dialog message will open suggesting an invalid SQA code has been selected. However, the code can still be added.
If a school should inadvertently add the new SQA code incorrectly then once the valid SQA file is uploaded to SEEMiS Click+Go, schools will require to add the valid SQA course code to school courses and (before turnaround) change from the incorrect SQA code to the valid SQA code in year options.
Please note SEEMiS will notify Local Authorities once the SQA file is uploaded, currently SQA are targeting this for May; it will then be up to individual schools to check for incorrect codes. SEEMiS cannot carry out any data fixes for any school which has errors in their SQA code information.
